Firefighting Sprinkler Package
A sprinkler firefighting package is designed for fire suppression by uniformly discharging high-pressure water (or a water–foam solution when required) over the affected area, preventing the spread of fire and ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel. These packages are designed and manufactured as ready-to-operate Package Units by Green Mile Company and allow for rapid installation on site.
When the temperature rises and the sprinklers are activated, the system automatically comes into operation and starts the firefighting process by supplying the required flow rate and pressure. The package may include a main pump, standby pump, control panel, valves, and instrumentation equipment.
The capacity of a sprinkler firefighting package is determined based on project requirements. The most important design parameters include:
•Area and type of the protected space
•Fire hazard classification
•Required water flow rate
•System operating pressure
•System operating duration
•Type of extinguishing agent
